3 boys sitting at the picnic table next door drinking their Kool-Aid and eating a cookie.
Toddler #1: Paul! Me: Yeah? Toddler #1: I got (2 minutes of rambling) and I got him. Me: You did? Toddler #1: Yeah. Me: Way to go buddy!
Toddler #2: Paul! Me: Yeah? Toddler #2: I had (muttering), but now all I got is 2 green ones. Me: Just three green ones? Toddler #2: Yeah. Me: Cool.
Toddler #3: Paul! Me: *rolling eyes* Yeah? Toddler #3: .... I love you! Me: *snicker* Well I love you too.
I guess he didn't have any news and was feeling left out. ha ha. |

Uhmm. Just lost it while this song was on. Not particularly religious any more, but still believe in God and all that good stuff, doing unto others as you'd have done unto you etc. Felt good to let go of some things.

| All righty then.... |
[Feb. 3rd, 2009|10:00 am] |
Someone asked me the other day how things were going and my unenthusiastic response was "Well the world is still spinning, so that's a good thing."
I think that pretty much sums up my mood. Life is still getting back to normal. The normal single routine of get up in the morning, go to work, come home have dinner, go to the second job, come home go to bed. Lather, rinse, repeat. Do the laundry when it needs done, do the dishes when they need done and that's pretty much my life.
I won't lie though, it's been nice getting back to vanilla. I feel much more relaxed and much more in control. Am I in a deep, deep hole? Oh yeah...but at least I know where I'm at and I know how to get out of it. I'm not sweating that part.
Am I pissed off about being taken advantage of? Oddly no. I don't like being in a hole, but I'm not really mad at anyone or anything. Perhaps I'm still in shock or perhaps I'm just so relieved to be back on familiar ground that I don't really care where I'm at so long as I know what to do while I'm there.
Do I plan on cutting Bryson off? Not entirely, at least not immediately. I have no intentions of paying big bills for him. I'm under no delusion that he'll be getting out any time soon, and I kinda like that idea. I fully understand that he'll be going away for a number of years at a minimum. I'm also under no delusion that he's going to do anything to turn his life around, but just to be sure I'm going to wait by the side lines for a few minutes to make sure.
Am I putting my life on hold for him? No, not at all. I'm in no shape to try and date someone at the moment. The only visitations I do work around my work schedule and last 10 minutes. It doesn't take me long to hammer out a letter on my lunch break and toss it in the mailbox once a week. In all honesty that's all I plan on doing for him. If he asks me to come to his court date I might take the day off and go, but I doubt that he'll want me there when the time comes.
In all honesty I'll probably "fade away" like he says everyone else does.
As for me...I plan on buckling down. 2009 wasn't intended to be a year of recovery, but it's certainly looking like it's going to work out that way. Come on Spring let's have some sunshine. :) |

Someone just did their taxes. Why does this always bring me joy? *ponders* Oh yes, one year I had to pay so now I have extra taken out of my paycheck just to be safe. That spells a nice refund each year. :)

Ok...not dead, that'd be mean to be so happy over someone dying. But suffice to say he'll be leaving the state prison in a pine box. And I had nothing to do with it. :)
More details to come, comment if you want to see them otherwise I won't bore you with the details. |

I'd really rather never attend again. Or if I did it'd be a school big enough that I could be out and it not be a big deal. Haha. Yay for group showers in PE. ;) |

| Let the Year End Meme's begin! :) |
[Dec. 28th, 2008|08:38 pm] |
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? Had my longest relationship. Visited a jail. Bonded someone out of jail. Found out my parents are now ok with me being gay.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I can't remember what my resolutions were. I normally make the new year my excuse for cleaning up my life so I'm sure that 2009 will not be all that different.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes. My neice. I'll even say Bryson though he didn't "give birth", but he has a baby now.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? The good ole U-S and A
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? A husband worth all the effort I've been putting into Bryson.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Oct 10th. The day Bryson became a daddy. (Why do I know this and he doesn't?) ha!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Not it's brag worthy, but I'll say having my longest relationship and running up $70,000 in credit card debt.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? Bryson's, my own.
14. Where did most of your money go? *ahem* Bryson.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? I'm still not a very excitable person. I got shocked more this year than anything else. Not sure that's the same thing though.
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Good Nigga - Gorilla Zoe
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: I. Happier or sadder? Uhmm. About the same. II. Thinner or fatter? Thinner, gotta love being so stressed that you forget to eat. III. Richer or poorer? Poorer!
